Police did not provide security, Madhavi couldn’t enter Shabarimala
Nilakkal: 45 years old Andhra woman Madhavi from Godavari in Andhrapradesh with her family members couldn’t enter Sabarimala due to protests by orthodox devotees. Police didn’t guard the family more than 100 metres through the Swami Ayyappan road. Madhavi with her family was accompanied by a group of police officials but in the middle police chose not to guard them. Amidst vile reactions of the mobs Madhavi returned. Madhavi could have been the first woman to enter Sabarimala, if she and her family had been provided with security by the police. She told the media that her uterus had bee removed. Libi, another woman who was trying to enter Sabarimala was detained from Pathanamthitta bus stand itself.
